A Sanctus family reunited

There is no greater celebration at Sanctus than when someone gets leave to remain and then we are able to reunite families.  Often separation has been for years rather than months and the process is fraught and wearing.

Family reunion is when a person who is successful in their asylum application is able to apply for visas for their dependants to join them. This can take several months but it’s always joyful for families when it happens! We support families with documents, appointments, liaising with other agencies etc.

It was wonderful therefore to meet Fatemeh and Pouria at Manchester airport on Monday afternoon, after their successful family reunion application to join husband and dad Ibrahim.

We are proud to be a part of their journey and to see them reunited and we offer them a very sincere and heartfelt welcome.
