May - update on our activities

Sanctus might not look the same, without the vibrant mix of faces and buzz of voices from all around the world at our Wednesday morning drop-in!

But, thanks to the amazing generosity of our supporters and volunteers, we can keep to our core task of supporting asylum seekers and refugees in Stoke-on-Trent, and offering practical help and the assurance that we care, especially in these anxious times when many feel so vulnerable, is SO important.

Since we began taking food and toiletries to people's homes at the end of March, we've made over 600 deliveries and we're now supporting 110 households every week.

We say a huge thank you to our volunteers who sort food donations and pack bags and the team of 14 volunteer drivers who deliver to people's doorsteps and check how people are.
