Dignity not Destitution, ASHA Conference

Today, we attended a conference organised by ASHA, an organisation which supports asylum seekers, and promotes their social integration. 

The conference aimed to:

  • To increase practical support for asylum seekers

  • To heighten recognition of asylum seekers as people ‘just like us.’

  • To build collaborative relationships amongst organisations offering services to asylum seekers and refugees

Revd Sally Smith spoke on Homelessness and Housing.
