Dignity not Destitution, ASHA Conference
Today, we attended a conference organised by ASHA, an organisation which supports asylum seekers, and promotes their social integration.
The conference aimed to:
To increase practical support for asylum seekers
To heighten recognition of asylum seekers as people ‘just like us.’
To build collaborative relationships amongst organisations offering services to asylum seekers and refugees
Revd Sally Smith spoke on Homelessness and Housing.
